The Kings Have Fallen

The Kings Have Fallen

Once, the kings have fallen,

Two children whose dreams never took flight,

Their laughter silenced by betrayal’s fire.

The game paused before it could start.

They moved pieces of hope,

Pawns across the board of time,

Knights soaring toward a distant tomorrow.

Yet the ground beneath them shattered,

The enemy's hands showed no mercy.

Their castles, built from ashes and fragile wishes,

Their kingdom crushed beneath the smoke of shattered dreams.

The silent sky offered no reply.

The board lies empty,

Echoes of lost steps breathing softly.

Whispering of lives cut short,

And dreams left unfinished.

No mercy, no pause, no second chance—

Only the echo of two young kings,

Whose game ended

Before they could truly exist.
