Flowers of Palestine
Location: Silwan, East Jerusalem Photograph: zehra imam
“Flowers of Palestine is an idea that came to me during my journey across Palestinian landscapes one summer. I kept seeing flowers blooming across each terrain. The constancy of flowers re-emerging despite violent realities felt like they were speaking a language of their own; their vibrancy was telling the story of a Palestine that continually perseveres. The intention with which this series was brought to life was to be able to support organizations in Palestine.” — zehra imam
