zehra imam is the founder of Illuminated Cities and an international teacher. She is an Associate Muslim Chaplain at MIT, a 2024 Fellow at Sacred Writes, and a 2024 grant recipient of Iceland Writers Retreat. Her  2025 Harvard Divinity School commencement speech was published by The Intercept, and she has previously been published in The Nation, Mondoweiss, and Harvard's Religion and Public Life blog.
