Mojeeb Al-Bayed, Gaza

Mojeeb Al-Bayed is an Illuminated Cities 2025 Poetry of the Camps-Gaza fellow.

Mojeeb is a Palestinian writer and poet from Gaza, living under the shadows of the genocide. He is pursuing a degree in Software Engineering and serves as a literary activist, leading the Yaraat Literary Team as Editor. Additionally, he works as a Creative Writing Facilitator with the Tamer Institute for Community Education. Mojeeb crafts workshops that nurture emotional resilience and inspire children in humanitarian crises to help them weave their silenced stories into voices of hope, fostering healing through the transformative power of storytelling and art.
